<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material to be recorded by an ink jet, which can print using a pigment type ink jet ink containing glycol ethers as an essential solvent, in which a printed image formed by using the pigment type ink has excellent lustrous properties, drying properties and image reproducibility, furthermore an enhanced abrasion resistance and excellent curling resistance, and which can fully endure in outdoor use without the laminating work of a plastic film. <P>SOLUTION: In the material to be recorded by ink-jet obtained by forming an ink receiving layer on a base material, the ink receiving layer is composed of a cellulose acetate butylate (component (a)) including 3 to 29.5 wt.% of acetyl group, 17 to 50 wt.% of butanoyl group and 1 to 3 wt.% of hydroxyl group, and a polymer and/or its copolymer (component (b)) comprising (meth)acrylate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
