<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reliability of a connector from being impaired, or the like by preventing the contact failure of electrical connection from occurring between a connector part of a storage medium and a connector part of a storage medium adapter in a structure for inserting and extracting the storage medium into/from an information processor through the storage medium adapter. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic loading mechanism automatically extracts the storage medium 15 from the storage medium adapter 16 on the basis of an external input while the storage medium adapter 16 is inserted, automatically attaches the storage medium 15 to the storage medium adapter 16, locks the storage medium adapter 16 when the storage medium 15 is automatically ejected or automatically attached while the storage medium adapter 16 is inserted, automatically ejects the storage medium 15 from the storage medium adapter 16 on the basis of an external input after detecting the insertion of the storage medium adapter 16 and automatically attaches the storage medium 15 to the storage medium adapter 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
