PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a micro biochemical evaluation apparatus for performing a measurement in real time, hardly giving any turbulence to a liquid to be evaluated even during a reaction, and performing detection with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: The micro biochemical evaluation apparatus comprises a substrate where a channel having dimensions of 1μm to several mm is formed and a chemical sensor using an optical waveguide being provided at a site in contact with the liquid that flows through the channel of the substrate.
