PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two step compound gear having a driving pinion and a follower gear arranged on the same axis, in which profile errors are especially reduced. SOLUTION: In the two step compound gear having the driving pinion and the follower gear arranged on the same axis, the large resin gear is formed by molding on the outer peripheral part of a connecting part having a cylindrical smooth outer surface directly connected to the pinion made of a machined metallic product.
