PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a decision time of clipping a foreign matter by automatically restarting the moving operation to house a display in a device for controlling a movable display operation. SOLUTION: In the device for controlling a movable display operation, a protection process against clipping a foreign matter comprises two steps. The moving operation to house the display is automatically restarted when the first step protection process operation is completed.
