PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable instrumentation general-purpose module, and an instrumentation system using it, which performs circuit adjustment by software from a separate place without going to the present place, even when instrumentation is performed at a remote place via the Internet, and maintains its function by cutting a failure portion of an instrumentation circuit off and reassembling the other normal portions of the instrumentation circuit, even if a part of the circuit fails. SOLUTION: A programmable instrumentation general-purpose module having a configuration of modularization or integration into an LSI of individual elements composed of circuits such as a digital synthesizer, an FPAA, an FPGA or a one-chip CPU, and if required a multiplier and an Ethernet controller, etc., is used. Various kinds of instrumentation systems in which patterns of wiring of elements and combination of functions in individual elements are changed are formed, by changing a program for the module at each line used for instrumentation.
