PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold air passage controlling device capable of controlling the cold air quantity passing through a cold air passage by operation of an operation lever and capable of achieving a stable operation even if the operation easy and suitably applicable to a refrigerator. SOLUTION: In this cold air passage controlling device controlling the quantity of cold air passing through the cold air passage according to operation of the operation lever, the operation lever is supported slidably in the lateral direction and provided with a control plate supported by means of a lateral direction shaft for opening/closing the cold air passage or increasing/decreasing the quantity of the cold air passing through the cold air passage. The operation plate is moved upward/downward by sliding the operation lever in the lateral direction, and the control plate is turned according to the upward/downward movement of the operation plate.
