PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt cutting method and an asphalt cutter for highly accurately cutting asphalt without causing damage by noises and vibration. SOLUTION: This asphalt cutter cuts the asphalt, and has an irradiating part for irradiating to the asphalt with an electromagnetic wave and a control part for controlling the electromagnetic wave irradiated by the irradiating part based on a component of the asphalt and the depth of the asphalt to solve the problem.
