PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic composite spun yarn having less falling off of short fibers on dyeing as a string state, rewinding process and knitting, and hardly causing collapse of shape even by wearing repeatedly as a product. SOLUTION: This elastic composite spun yarn is obtained by covering a core part consisting of≥2 twisted elastic fibers with a sheath part consisting of short fibers and is integrated and unified as the short fibers are nipped/held between the elastic fibers.
