PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press to manufacture a formed product having uniform thickness at a reduced cost. SOLUTION: The press is provided with lower molds 42, 62 to hold a pulp film, upper molds 52, 72 to press the pulp film together with the lower molds, and lifting and lowering means 58, 78 movably supporting the upper molds and lifting or lowering the upper molds relative to the lower molds. The lifting and lowering means may have a plurality of balance arms tiltable relative to the vertical plane and tiltably supporting one upper mold with each arm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
