METAL OXIDE POWDER, ITS PRODUCTION METHOD AND RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal oxide powder which, when mixed into a resin, does not agglomerate, is homogeneously dispersed, and does not increase the viscosity of the resultant resin composition; a method for producing the same; and a low-expansibility resin composition excellent in resistances to moisture absorption and solder cracking. SOLUTION: The surface of this metal oxide powder is treated with a silazane and a silane coupling agent; and the production method for the metal oxide powder and the composition comprising the powder and a resin are also provided.
