PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent an abnormal noise, folding in a rear end, jamming and the like from being generated when a paper sheet is fed. SOLUTION: In this paper feed mechanism of which the paper sheet conveying direction T for conveying the stored paper sheets stored substantially horizontally in a device while selecting them one by one is set substantially perpendicularily with respect to a positional condition where the sheets are stored, a tilt conveying passage 25 arranged in an inflection part for changing the sheet conveying direction T from the substantially horizontal condition to a substantially vertical direction is formed into a curved shape to moderate the change of the conveying direction for the sheet.
