A dual roll casting machine capable of reducing the supply amount of inert gas, wherein a duct (19) is energized upward by cylinders (24) to compress elastic seal members (22) and (23) installed between a flange (30) on a casing module (3) side and an upper flange (20) on a duct (19) side and between a lower flange (21) on the duct (19) side and the peripheral edge lower face at the upper end opening part of an enclosing casing (5) to maintain airtightness at a connection part between the casing module (3) and the duct (19) and a connection part between the duct (19) and the enclosing casing (5), and a scrap box (7) is moved upward by jacks (6) to forcibly drive the lower edge parts of the partition plates (28) of an enclosing casing (5) side upper seal member (29) into a sealing material (27) stored in a scrap box (7) side groove (25) to hold the airtightness at the connection part between the scrap box (7) and the enclosing casing (5).
