The noise detection and reproduction device has at least 2 microphones (10,12), positioned adjacent the ears of a user (54), for binaural detection of noise and conversion into electrical signals, the ears of the user covered by a pair of earmuffs (30,32) containing electroacoustic transducers (16,18) for reproduction of the microphone signals after real-time signal processing for filtering out selected frequency ranges.
