Mucosal or topical administration of minerals (or their mixtures) (I) comprising incorporating (I) in liquid solution form in an ampoule and applying the solution directly from the ampoule onto the mucosa, wound surfaces or dressings, is new. An Independent claim is included for a composition for use as above, comprising (I) in liquid solution form in an ampoule, preferably provided with (or connectable with) a device for spraying the solution.
