PURPOSE: A chair with an improved structure is provided to prevent scoliosis and to correct an improper sitting posture of a user and thus, to reduce the occurrence of scoliosis especially among high school students who sit on chairs for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The chair with a function of preventing scoliosis includes two pressure sensors(1), a measurement comparator(3), an alarm and LED(4), a plurality of support springs(2), and a seat(9) in two sides. The measurement comparator(3) compares the weight of a user on the seat of the left side to the weight of the user on the seat of the right side. Thus, when the weights on the left seat and on the right seat are different from each other, the alarm and LED(4) gives an alarm to the user. In response to the alarm, the user corrects the sitting posture.
