<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device in which uniform white balance is provided over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with gain variable ampifiers to individually amplify R, G and B input video signals. The device is provided with a gain control means which obtains gain correction values of respective amplifiers corresponding to first and second control values from a gain correction value table based on the first control value outputted from a luminance detecting means and the second control value outputted from a starting time accumulation value computing means.
