<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dyeing resin for a sublimable transfer image-receiving body, which is excellent in gradation, color reproduction, color density and light resistance of a recorded image, and the imaging-receiving body using the resin. <P>SOLUTION: A polylactic acid resin for the sublimable transfer image-receiving body is characterized as follows: the molar ratio (L/D) of an L-lactic acid to a D-lactic acid is in the range of 0.05-19; a reduced viscosity is in the range of 0.3-1.0 d1/g; and preferably, the lactic acid residue of a polylactic acid is set at 90 wt% or more. The sublimable transfer image-receiving body, which has a substrate and a dyeing layer provided in the substrate, is characterized in that the polylactic acid resin is included as the dyeing resin which constitutes the dyeing layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
