<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cover for covering an actuator of an optical pickup device from jouncing. <P>SOLUTION: The cover 4 for covering the actuator 3 comprises a cover body section 51 provided with an aperture in the part facing an objective lens 2 and a plurality of legs 52 to 54 disposed in the side part of the body section 51. The legs 52 to 54 have sections 56a to 56d to be engaged for engaging cover engaging sections 48a to 48d on the actuator side in the state of covering the actuator 3 by the body section 51. The body section 51 has energizing sections 57 and 58 for pressing the top surfaces of magnets 44 and 45 constituting the actuator 3. When the cover 4 is mounted, the energizing sections 57 and 58 disposed at the body section 51 press the top surfaces of the magnets 44 and 45 and push up the cover 4 by the reaction force thereof, thereby forcibly bringing the sections 56a to 56d to be engaged into contact with the ends of the engaging sections 48a to 48d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
