<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with a hot water drip-off function, which also has part of the hot water drip-off function and a lid also provided with the hot water drip-off function, so that the hot water function can be exerted without a positional need between the container and the lid even if the shape of the container changes. <P>SOLUTION: Projections and recessions (14) are formed on the side (12) of a container body (10) along its overall periphery, with the projections and recessions reaching a flange (13). Inside the flange (13), a waveform is formed along the overall periphery, and the projections and recessions (14) and the waveform on the inside (15) of the flange are continuous. A half-cut line (h) of a proper length is formed by drilling along the peripheral edge of the inside (15) of the flange via one edge (23) to the other edge (24) of a gripping strip (22) for forming a hot water discharging outlet of the lid (20).
