<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inkjet recording ink which, in a dye concentration enough for an image density on a recording paper, does not cause the plugging of an inkjet printer head during temporary or long-term stop of a printer, exhibits good recoverability (redelivery) from plugging even if it occurs, and is excellent in storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording ink is prepared by adding a trimethylolmethane derivative represented by formula (1) (wherein R is a methyl group or an H(OCH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>p</SB>O- group, and the sum of l, m, n, and p is a number of 30-60) to inkjet recording ink containing a dye and water. The content of the trimethylolmethane derivative of formula (1) is desirably 1-25 wt.%. This ink can be desirably used in an inkjet recording method in which the ink is delivered from the delivery nozzles of a thermal or piezoelectric inkjet head onto a recording paper to give an image thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
