The invention relates to a galette unit for conveying and guiding at least one running synthetic thread. A pot-shaped galette cover is mounted on a support in such a way that it protrudes, by means of a drive shaft with at least one rolling bearing. Said drive shaft is connected to an electric drive. According to the invention, a means of cooling the inner ring of the rolling bearing mounted on the drive shaft is provided in order to prevent the rolling bearing from being heated through the drive shaft, ensuring a homogenisation and maintenance of the operating temperatures between the outer ring and the inner ring in the rolling bearing. |
