PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the information display method for a display device by which a processing instantaneously coping with changing information is obtained and the complication of program constitution and the enlargement of program execution codes accompanying the enlargement of a system are prevented. SOLUTION: In the information display method for the display device, by storing a plurality of hierarchically constituted sub menu programs and the execution order of the sub menu programs based on an event and executing the sub menu programs on the basis of the execution order when the event occurs, various kinds of the information are displayed by a display means. An information confirmation program to be an origin is set to a main program, and when executing a specified program for information display based on the event, the specified program for the information display is executed according to the execution order whose origin is the information confirmation program.
