PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shock sound of a stop blade, with respect to a light blocking blade driving unit for a camera. SOLUTION: The driving unit has a substrate 10 which has an opening part 10a for exposure, the stop blade 30 which is freely turnably supported on the substrate and faces the opening part 10a to block part of passing light, an electromagnetic driving source 40 which drives the stop blade 30, and a stop stopper 12 and a non-stop stopper 13 which stop the stop blade 30 at a stop position and a non-stop position, and the stop stopper 12 and non-stop stopper 13 are formed of buffer members. Consequently, the shock force when the stop blade 30 abuts against the stoppers is reduced to prevent the shock sound etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
