PREDICTION METHOD AND PREDICTION PROGRAM OF FEELING OF BRIGHTNESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction method and a prediction program of feeling of brightness which quantitatively and precisely predict feeling of brightness of an object area in a brightness distribution image. SOLUTION: This invention includes: a process S1 for obtaining the brightness distribution image; a process S2 for specifying the prediction object area in the brightness distribution image; a process S4 for calculating a first feeling of brightness on the assumption that brightness in the prediction object area is evenly distributed; a process S5 for calculating a second feeling of brightness by contrast of brightness of the prediction object area and other respective brightness in the brightness distribution image; and a process S6 for predicting feeling of brightness of the prediction object area in consideration of both the first and the second feeling of brightness.
