PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a current gas cooking stove wherein a caloric force adjusting lever is projected outside from a top plate because area of the top plate is formed the same with the top surface of a cooking stove itself to make it easy to see the caloric force adjusting lever for improvement of operability and wherein the stock spilled on the top plate intrudes along the caloric force adjusting lever to exert adverse influence on an electric boards and switches provided inside of the cooking stove. SOLUTION: This caloric force adjusting device for a gas cooker is provided with a stopper part 72 for stopping the stock in a part of a caloric force adjusting lever to prevent the movement of the stock spilled on the top plate at the predetermined position of the caloric force adjusting lever 7.
