PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic brake for building-in a motor whereby a friction area can be enlarged by reducing deformation of an end plate, a spacer required for holding a space between a yoke and the end plate can be dispensed with, an outside diameter of a friction plate can be enlarged to an outside diameter of a movable plate, and high torque can be generated even in a same dimension. SOLUTION: The end plate 8 as a component of the electromagnetic brake 1 is directly fastened and fixed to a load side bracket 2 as a motor bracket. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
