PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant speed travel control device for a vehicle improving the response characteristics of a pedal provided with a footrest function during the control of an automatic speed control device (ASCD). SOLUTION: This travel control device for the vehicle is provided with a constant speed travel control device 1 allowing constant speed travel without pedal operation by a driver and increasing the stepping reaction of the pedal operated by stepping of the driver during constant speed travel control to provide the pedal with the footrest function. The travel control device is provided with a footrest function release means S8 for reducing the stepping reaction to release the footrest function in the case of stepping on the pedal during constant speed travel control, and a pedal control moderating means S10 for moderating a control signal of a throttle valve outputted according to the stepping quantity of the pedal after the release of the constant speed travel control.
