PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling technique of clothes and improve efficiency of recycling fiber products. SOLUTION: Collected clothes are cut in 2-5 cm square pieces by cutting device. Cut pieces of the clothes are made into fibers by picker device. The intermediate material processed by the picker device is made into fibers by conventional rag opener. The fibers are cut by a cutter 1 to short fibers having≤3 mm fiber length. Reclaimed paper is produced by using the short fibers as a raw material by conventional method for making the reclaimed paper. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
