PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by enhancing production efficiency when a reinforcing belt is wound around a drum. SOLUTION: A plurality of wire materials formed into a wave form are held between rubber materials to form a reinforcing belt 24. This reinforcing belt 24 is wound around two heads 31 and 32. Thereafter, in a molding process for manufacturing a pneumatic tire 10, a drum 30 is rotated in a state covered with a carcass 12 to feed the reinforcing belts 24 from two heads 31 and 32 by setting the vicinity of the equator surface CL of the pneumatic tire 10 as starting points to wind them around the carcass 12. At this time, heads 31 and 32 are respectively moved in the direction crossing the equator surface CL at a right angle by the operation mutually symmetric with respect to the equator surface CL to respectively send out the reinforcing belts 24.
