The invention relates to an automatic water temperature regulator which can be used to regulate the temperature of drinking or non-drinking water in either Centigrade or Fahrenheit. The inventive regulator comprises a digital or analogue/digital circuit which: processes the information received from a temperature sensor housed in the water duct, said information being regulated or partially regulated, by automatically adjusting the cold and hot water valves in order to produce the temperature that was introduced using the electronic keyboard; and shows the programmed and detected temperature on a display. A data bus is used for communication between the electronic keyboard, the analogue/digital circuit and the display. According to the invention, the regulator can be de-activated using a switch and, when this occurs, the automatic hot and cold water valves open to maximum capacity and the temperature of the water must be regulated manually using the cold water tap and the hot water tap which are positioned on the cold water duct and the hot water duct respectively. Said regulator operates with direct current; the alternating current is first reduced using a voltage regulator and subsequently converted into direct current. Other parts can be added to the aforementioned elements in order to produce different types of automatic water temperature regulators. |
