COMPACT APPARATUS FOR IMAGING ON PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact apparatus for imagining on a plate, the apparatus easily assembled into the space to be used for the printing unit in a printing machine.

SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for imaging on a plate has a plurality of light sources 14 and an imaging optical system to produce a plurality of picture dots 16 of the light sources on a plate 12. The imaging optical system 18 includes at least one macro optical system 20 comprising refractive optical parts. The optical path 22 from the light source 14 to the picture point 16 passes twice in the macro optical system 20.
