<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter unit which can quickly charge a smoothing capacitor prior to the operation of the inverter unit. <P>SOLUTION: In the inverter unit having a smoothing capacitor C for smoothing a voltage, a transistor Tr and a resistor R<SB>2</SB>are connected in parallel with a contactor 3 to be series with the capacitor C. When the inverter unit is operated, the transistor Tr is first turned on, the capacitor C is quickly charged via the resistor R<SB>2</SB>, and the contactor 3 is connected after it is detected that a potential of the capacitor C arrives at a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
