<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing method and a system device using a portable card with communicating function, for recording the information on a notice in a user's personal digital assistant with simple procedure even at a place where one goes without carrying a writing tool and a memo pad. <P>SOLUTION: This method applies a constitution means configurating a system with a means for reading out a necessary E-mail address recorded to transmit the information to the user's personal digital assistant 4 from an IC card 5, an IC card reader 3 comprising a means for transferring the read E-mail address and a card reader ID for identifying the IC card reader 3, to an information management server 2, the information management server 2 comprising a provided information acquiring means 2a for acquiring the provided information corresponding to the card reader ID from the database 1, and a provided information transmitting means 2b for transmitting the information to the E-mail address, and the database 1 storing the provided information in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
