<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-acting rutin preparation capable of keeping a quercetin conjugate concentration in blood over a long time and decreasing administration frequency and an oral composition, a food or medicine containing the preparation. <P>SOLUTION: The long-acting rutin preparation comprises an enzyme-treated rutin or a mixture of the enzyme-treated rutin with rutin. The preparation can keep the quercetin conjugate concentration in the blood for a long time and is useful as an oral composition, a food or a medicine for prophylaxis/treatment of diseases such as cancers, arteriosclerosis and ischemic heart diseases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
