PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deformation caused by welding in the whole periphery of a cylindrical member such as a gear pump P. SOLUTION: In the gear pump in which an inner rotor and an outer rotor are disposed inside casing 10, and the casing consists of circumferential casing covering the outer circumferential face of the outer rotor and side casing covering both the sides of the outer rotor and the inner rotor, all around the circumferential side edges on both the sides in the circumferential casting is subjected to welding (t) to the periphery of each side casing. The welding is performed from a section (c) turned by 90 degrees to the peripheral direction from the center of two notch (holes) 11 for loading sliding seals. In the welding for the welding starting point (c) and the notch parts 11, the force to deform the casing 10 into an elliptic shape works by the solidification thereof, but the solidification force is deviated by 90 degrees to cause canceling, so that its deformation is suppressed.
