PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folder control device for properly setting the access right of a subordinate folder according to the access right of a superordinate folder, a folder control method, a folder control program and a computer readable program storage medium recording the folder control program. SOLUTION: This folder control device has a folder access right control means 47 for controlling an access person accessible to a folder and the access right of the access person with every folder and an access right setting means 41 for setting the access right in the same as the access right of the superodinate folder or weaker than the access right of the superordinate folder as the access right for a new subordinate folder.
