PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuity test tool for straight-type terminal capable of surely preventing a wrong connection of an L-type terminal, and improving the reliability and work efficiency of continuity test. SOLUTION: This continuity test tool 31 for straight-type terminal is provided with a cover member 36 for preventing a wrong connection to an L-type terminal. When connecting a straight-type terminal 1 to a tab terminal 35, insertion of the straight-type terminal 1 into a frame part 37 of the cover member 36 and interfitting connection thereof to the tab terminal 35 are allowed. When wrongly connecting the L-type terminal 1 to the tab terminal 35, the upper end of the frame part 37 abuts on a crimp part provided in the perpendicular direction to the tip part which is an interfitting connection part of the L-type terminal or on an electric wire crimped to the crimp part, to thereby block insertion of the L-type terminal into the frame part 37 up to a position where interfitting connection to the tab terminal is enabled.
