PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the hygienic condition, and to improve safety when using by preventing the generation of pollution due to propagation of bacteria in the water with the lapse of time. SOLUTION: In this simplified moisture evaporator equipped with a container 2 formed with an opening 1 in the top surface thereof, the water-containing water-absorbing polymer 6 is housed in the container 2, and the moisture is diffused from the water absorbing polymer 6. When the water absorbing polymer 6 contains water, a mold-resistant agent is included in the water absorbing polymer 6 within the range of concentration at 0.05-0.30 mass %. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
