PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent composition contributing to reduction of environmental load and used for production of coated paper (hot-rolled paper), etc., excellent in many physical properties. SOLUTION: The coating agent composition imparts heat resistance, oil resistance and antipollution property to paper by applying a coating agent to the paper in order to impart luster (gloss) and the composition is composed of a solution of an organic solvent-soluble biodegradable polymer such as starch ester.
