PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soap which can promote skin metabolism and suppress dryness of skin and hairs, entanglement of hairs, and the like after washing by an action of a negative ion generated from a negative ion-generating ceramic powder. SOLUTION: The negative ion-generating ceramic powder having a particle size of 0.5-6 micrometer which emits a very small amount of radioactive rays and reacts with a water molecule to convert it into a negative ion is caused to be included in a soap, and the very small amount of useful radioactive rays emitted from the negative ion-generating ceramic at the time of bathing, face washing or the like reacts with hot water or water to convert it into a negative ion. The negative ion promotes skin metabolism and decreases various bacteria and the like by its bactericidal and deodorizing effects. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
