PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially advantageously producing high-purity adamantanes in good yield by economically purifying the adamantanes obtained by isomerizing trimethylenenorbornane without giving load on the environment. SOLUTION: The method for producing the high-purity adamantanes comprises drying crystals of the adamantanes containing 5-50 wt.% liquid in the method for producing the adamantanes by isomerizing the trimethylenenorbornane.
