PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which a dust collecting capacity is stabilized regardless of a time of usage. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner has a filter 17 which is fitted in a dust collecting chamber 18 and filters dust in air sucked into the dust collecting chamber, and a dust separating means 21 which separates dust adhering to the filter 17 from the filter 17. Thus, during an operation of a blower 11, the dust separating means 21 is operated, and a high dust collecting performance can be continuously maintained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
