A web of material (1) has a top layer of paper or plastic (3) on a base layer of paste material containing magnetic particles over an anti-slip layer (4). The web provides a surface on which images or legends are printed by a plotter, copying machine, printing machine or similar. The web is preferably 600 mm wide or more. The upper layer is 0.1-0.2 mm thick.
