<p>PURPOSE: A high torque resistant and strong screwless plastic gearbox is provided to reduce the thickness of an output shaft in the gearbox. CONSTITUTION: A gearbox(110) comprises a main body(111) having a first raised boss(111A), a second raised boss(111B) and a first collar(144); a cover(134) having a first raised boss(134A), a second raised boss(134B) and a second collar(146); a central shaft(126) being held at one end in the first raised boss of the main body and being held at an opposite end in the first raised boss of the cover; a second shaft(128) being held at one end in the second raised boss of the main body and being held at an opposite end in the second raised boss of the cover; and an output shaft(142) being held at the midsection by the first collar of the main body and being held at a nonworking end by the second collar of the cover. The cover is sealed onto the main body.</p> |
