METHOD FOR PROCESSING IMAGES FOR PLASTIC DEFORMATION ACTION ANALYSIS OF ASPHALT MIXTURE

PURPOSE: A method for processing images for a plastic deformation action analysis of an asphalt mixture is provided to quantize the quantity of plastic deformation, thereby easily grasping a movement state of aggregate of an asphalt mixture sample piece. CONSTITUTION: Grid lines before plastic deformation formed on a side of an asphalt mixture sample piece are photographed and inputted(S300). Coordinates of grid line crossing points are extracted from the inputted grid line image for setting the coordinates as reference crossing point coordinates for measuring the quantity of plastic deformation. The asphalt mixture sample piece is compressed. Grid lines changed by the plastic deformation are photographed and inputted at a predetermined time gap. Coordinates of crossing points of the changed grid lines are extracted from the inputted grid line image of the plastically deformed sample piece(S302-S310). The crossing point coordinates of the extracted grid lines are compared with the reference crossing point coordinates to measure the quantity of plastic deformation of the sample piece.
