Bumper

The bumper has adjusting units, fastened to struts on the vehicle, and a carrier bar fastened to the struts. Each strut (3) has fastened to it a sleeve (2), which extends at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the bar (1). Adjusting rings (4) clamped to the bar are located in the sleeves, so as to be non-turnable and tiltable through an angle section. Each ring has a circumferential collar (9), the concave underside of which engages on the convex end face of the sleeve. A threaded sleeve (5) is screwed into every ring, and the sleeve carries a non-turnable driver ring (6), and this is in friction engagement with a screw bolt (7).
