The camera has a charge-coupled device sensor unit (4), a shutter (3) in the imaging beam path and a device for resetting the charge-coupled device sensor unit containing a control unit (5) coupled to the charge-coupled device sensor unit and that carries out resetting of the charge-coupled device sensor unit after opening the shutter. The control unit contains a time monitoring circuit that causes sensor unit resetting at a defined time point.
