PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to cook food quickly and evenly by transmitting heat to food efficiently without overturning food during cooking with heating the upper part and the lower part of a cooking chamber at the same time, and to reduce cooking hours by heating the large amount of food at a time with mounting plural food support members in upper and lower support bars at both sides of the cooking chamber. CONSTITUTION: A first food support member(50) and a second food support member(60) are installed in an upper support bar(34) and a lower support bar(35) in a microwave oven. The first and second support members are installed and separated from a cooking chamber(20) with sliding tubes directly contacted on the upper and lower support bars. Meat on the first food support member is broiled evenly with operating an upper heater(31) and a lower heater(32), and oil from meat is collected on the second food support member. Food such as cookie, pizza, cake or bread is cooked quickly by operating the heaters with putting the second food support member on the upper support bar or the lower support bar. The second food support member made of aluminum reflects radiant heat from the heaters to the first food support member. A fitting projection(36) is formed at the side of the cooking chamber, and protruded for the center of the cooking chamber to prevent the food support member from overturning in sliding forward.
