<p>A reclosable closure arrangement for use with packages, such as food and non-food packages, that includes a zipper closure (26) having a slider device (28) to open and close a pair of mating closure profiles (30,32). The slider device (28) includes a plow member (60) used to separate the closure profiles as the plow is moved along the length of the closure profile. Each of the closure profiles (30,32) includes a receiving notch (72,74) that defines a home position for the slider device (28). The receiving notches (72,74) formed in the closure profiles have a maximum length which is less than the length of a plow (60) formed on the slider device (28). Thus, the slider device is prevented from becoming displaced from between the closure profiles (30,32). <IMAGE></p> |
